Polk Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    polk greens
    onions
    eggs
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Gather polk greens in spring of year.
    Look and wash well. Parboil greens; rinse.
    Boil again.
    Put 2 tablespoons of soda in water, rinse well.
    Squeeze out all the water you can.
    Put greens and cut up onion in skillet with fair amount of Crisco.
    Cook until onion is translucent.
    I like to scramble 3 or 4 eggs, then mix with cooked greens.
