Mom'S Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 qt. cucumbers
    4 Spanish onions
    2 qt. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. turmeric
    1/2 c. mustard seed
    4 green peppers
    4 red peppers
    8 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. mustard, ground
Preparation
    Slice cucumbers, onions and peppers very thin.
    Salt overnight, covered with water.
    Drain, then cook with remaining ingredients.
    Let stand in hot vinegar for a few hours, then reheat and can.
