Green Pepper Pineapple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. cream cheese
    1/4 c. crushed pineapple, drained
    1 pimento, cut fine
    2 Tbsp. pecans, chopped fine
    1 tsp. gelatin
    1 tsp. pineapple juice
    3 good firm green peppers, seeds removed
Preparation
    Soak gelatin in the pineapple juice and dissolve over hot water.
    Add to pineapple and cream cheese mixture.
    Fill green peppers and set in refrigerator to harden.
    With a very sharp knife, cut the stuffed peppers crosswise into thin slices.
    Serve on lettuce with mayonnaise.
