Blend Of The Bayou - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 stick margarine
    1 lb. peeled, raw shrimp
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 large bell pepper, chopped
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. grated cheese
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 can sliced mushrooms, drained
    1 Tbsp. garlic salt
    1 tsp. Tabasco
    1/2 tsp. red pepper
    1 pt. crab meat
    2 c. cooked rice
    2 c. cracker crumbs
Preparation
    Melt cream cheese and butter.
    Saute shrimp, onion, pepper and celery in 2 tablespoons butter and add to first mixture.
    Add soup, mushrooms, seasonings, crab meat and rice.
    Mix well.
    Place in a 2-quart casserole dish and top with grated cheese and cracker crumbs.
    Bake for 20 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0, or until bubbly. Serves 8 and leftovers freeze well.
