Gooey Butter Cake - cooking recipe

1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1/2 c. melted butter
2 large eggs
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 (16 oz.) pkg. powdered sugar, sifted

Preparation

Combine first 3 ingredients in a large mixing bowl, beat at medium speed until blended.
Pour batter into a greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan, set aside.
Beat cream cheese until creamy.
Gradually add sifted powdered sugar, beat well.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
Pour cream cheese mixture evenly over batter.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until golden.
Let cool completely in pan or wire rack.
Sprinkle with additional powdered sugar.
