Company French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter, melted
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 loaf \"Texas Toast\" bread
    cinnamon
    raisins (optional)
    7 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Pour melted butter in a 13 x 9-inch pan and cover with brown sugar. Place a layer of bread (as close as possible) over butter; sprinkle cinnamon and raisins over and cover with another layer of bread. Combine and beat eggs, vanilla and milk; pour mixture over bread. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
