Hungarian Paprikas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    chicken
    1 large or 2 medium onions, diced
    shortening
    1 tsp. red pepper
    2 tsp. paprika
    salt to taste
    elbow macaroni
    1 to 1 1/2 quart water
Preparation
    Saut onions in 2 Tbsp. shortening, drain.
    Add to the onions the red pepper and paprika, salt and water.
    Add cut up chicken and cook until tender about 2 hours.
