Black Walnut Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter (2 sticks)
1/2 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
1 Tbsp. rum flavoring
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 c. black walnuts, chopped
Preparation

Cream butter, shortening and sugar, then add eggs, one at a time.
Add rum and vanilla.
Add alternately flour, baking powder and milk, then add nuts.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven about 80 minutes.
