Oyster Sauce Beef And Chinese Peas - cooking recipe

1 1/2 lb. beef, thinly sliced
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. soy sauce
2 tsp. sherry
1/4 c. oyster sauce
2 Tbsp. salad oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 c. thinly sliced onion
1 c. Chinese peas
Preparation

Combine beef, cornstarch, sugar, soy sauce, sherry, oyster sauce and 1 tablespoon of the oil.
Marinate for 20 minutes.
In a wok or skillet, heat remaining oil and brown garlic.
Add meat and onion; stir-fry for 1 minute.
Add peas and cook 1 more minute.
