Applesauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    Apples (McIntosh, Dr. Mathews or Jonathans)
    1 c. water
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 heaping tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Peel apples, then slice. Put apples and water in pan and cook about 15 minutes or until tender. Use a potato masher to mash apples. Add sugar--about 1 1/2 c., to your own taste. Add cinnamon; heat for 5 minutes.
