Layered Ground Beef Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large onion, sliced and divided
1 c. sliced celery, divided
1 large green pepper, seeded, sliced and divided
salt and pepper
1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 c. (8 oz.) tomato sauce
2 large potatoes, peeled and sliced thin
1 c. (10 3/4 oz.) cream of celery soup
Preparation

In 2-quart casserole, layer half the onion, celery and green pepper; season with salt and pepper.
Top with beef; season with three-fourths teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper.
Pour on tomato sauce.
Top with remaining onion, celery and pepper. Arrange potatoes over top; spread with soup.
Bake uncovered in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 1 to 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until potatoes are tender and top is lightly browned.
Do not stir.
Makes 6 servings.
