Carrie Mae'S Chicken Pot Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large fryer
    1 stick margarine
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 c. chicken broth
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. mixed vegetables
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    salt to taste
    1 c. milk
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen English peas
Preparation
    Stew chicken until tender.
    Remove bones and dice meat. Melt butter in skillet; stir
    in
    starch.
    Add broth and milk. Stir until thickened over medium heat.
    Place chicken, vegetables and peas in 12 x
    8
    x 2-inch casserole dish.
    Cover with sauce. Sprinkle in salt
    and
    pepper;
    mix.
    Cover
    with latticed pie crust.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 or until golden brown.
