Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. white syrup
1 pt. water
Spanish peanuts (raw)
1/4 lb. butter
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
-
Boil sugar, syrup and water to 240\u00b0 or until it hardens in cold water.
Add peanuts and butter; boil until peanuts are brown. Remove from heat.
Add soda dissolved in vanilla.
Stir well and pour on slab and spread.
