Turnip Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cooked mashed turnips
    3 Tbsp. butter
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
Preparation
    Combine turnips, butter, sugar, salt, eggs, pepper and 3/4 cup of the bread crumbs; mix well.
    Pour into buttered casserole dish. Top with rest of bread crumbs mixed with 1 tablespoon of melted butter.
    Bake until brown, about 30 minutes, at 350\u00b0.
