Steamed New Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 or 5 lbs new potatoes (you can use quartered red potatoes)
1/2 c butter
1 Tbsp dried garlic
2 Tbsp dried onion
salt and pepper
parsley flakes
Preparation

Wash potatoes and place them in a large steam pan. Fill the bottom pan with water (halfway to top). Put garlic and onion in the water. Bring to a boil. Place the steam pan with potatoes over the water pan. Cut the butter up and drop on top of potatoes. Salt and pepper to taste. Cover steam pan, reduce heat to a simmer and let steam for about 30 to 45 minutes. Check for doneness by pricking with a fork. Before you serve, sprinkle with parsley flakes, and more butter if desired.
