Hearty Sausage Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. Polish sausage
    2 (16 oz.) cans Great Northern beans (undrained)
    3 c. coarsely chopped cabbage
    2 c. water *
    1 1/2 c. sliced carrots (1-inch pieces)
    2 chicken bouillon cubes
    3/4 c. sliced celery (1/2-inch pieces)
    1 Tbsp. minced onion (I use a whole onion)
    1/2 tsp. basil
    1/4 tsp. dried thyme leaves
    1/4 tsp. dried summer savory leaves (optional)
    1/8 tsp. minced garlic or garlic salt
Preparation
    *I use 2 beers.
    Makes it really good.
