Layered Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/5 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 c. evaporated milk
    1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
    1/4 c. sweet red pepper, chopped
    1/5 c. onion, chopped
    2/3 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    3 Tbsp. chili sauce
Preparation
    Cut cabbage into small wedges; cook in boiling salted water until tender.
    Drain.
    Place wedges in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Set aside.
    Melt butter in a small saucepan; stir in flour, salt and pepper.
    Gradually stir in milk; cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
    Pour sauce over cabbage wedges.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
