Melting Moments - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    1 egg yolk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    rolled oats
Preparation
    In bowl, cream butter and sugar.
    Beat in egg yolk and vanilla.
    Sift together flour, cornstarch, salt and baking powder; stir in butter-sugar mixture.
    Shape into marble-size balls and turn in rolled oats to coat.
    Arrange cookies on greased jelly roll pan and bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Makes about 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
