Hobo Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. hamburger
1 onion, cut small
1 green pepper, cut small
3 potatoes
3 carrots
5 celery sticks
1 can tomatoes
2 cans prepared beef gravy
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Fry hamburger with onion and green pepper.
Drain off the grease and set aside.
Boil the potatoes, carrots and celery together until they are soft but not soggy.
Drain off the water. In a large pot, put it all together, folding it in carefully, and then add tomatoes and gravy, stirring carefully.
Season with salt and pepper.
Keep on low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, noodles, toast or biscuits.
