Ritz Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    20 Ritz crackers
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. chopped nuts
    whipped cream
    shaved chocolate
Preparation
    Beat egg whites stiff.
    Add sugar and vanilla.
    Beat well on high speed.
    With rolling pin, roll crackers together with baking powder on waxed paper.
    Stir into egg white mixture.
    Fold in chopped nuts.
    Spread into a 9-inch greased pie tin.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
    When cool and before serving, top with whipped cream and shaved chocolate.
