Vegetable Marinade With Tangy Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. oil
    1 can each: corn, peas and green beans, drained
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 (4 oz.) jar pimento, drained and diced
    1 c. onion, chopped
    1 c. celery, chopped
Preparation
    Heat together vinegar, salt, pepper, sugar and oil until sugar is dissolved.
    Set aside to cool.
    Place vegetables in large bowl and pour dressing over vegetable mixture.
    Refrigerate overnight. Serves 6 to 8.
