Oven Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. cubed stew beef, trimmed of fat
    1/4 c. flour
    1 to 2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. paprika
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    2 medium onions, sliced
    1 1/2 c. thinly sliced carrots
    1 c. thinly sliced celery
    1 c. water
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    2 (8 oz.) cans mushrooms (pieces and stems), drained and rinsed
Preparation
    In a plastic bag, combine flour, salt, pepper and paprika. Add a few pieces of meat at a time and shake bag, coating well on all sides.
    Repeat until all meat has been floured.
