Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1 3/4 to 2 c. unsalted dry roasted peanuts
    1 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Generously grease large baking sheet and set aside. Combine sugar and corn syrup in 2 quart glass measure bowl. Cook on high for 4 minutes. Stir in peanuts with wooden spoon and cook on high for 4 minutes. Stir in butter and vanilla and cook on high for 2 minutes. Add baking soda and stir until mixture is light and foamy. Pour on prepared baking sheet. Spread quickly to edges using back of wooden spoon. As candy cools stretch to a thin sheet using palms of hands. Cool completely before breaking into pieces. Store in airtight container.
