Corn Bread Or Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cornmeal
    2 c. flour
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. baking powder
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 c. milk
    4 Tbsp. Crisco
Preparation
    Mix the dry ingredients.
    Beat eggs. Add milk and stir into dry mixture.
    Add the Crisco and mix thoroughly.
    Pour into \"hot\" cast-iron skillet or corn bread stick pan with about 1 tablespoon oil. Bake in preheated oven at 450\u00b0 or until golden brown.
