Cloud Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 beaten egg
    2/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Cut in Crisco like coarse crumbs.
    Combine egg and milk.
    Add to flour mixture.
    Turn out on lightly floured board.
    Knead gently with heel of hand 20 strokes. Roll to 3/4-inch thickness.
    Cut and place on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake in a 425\u00b0 oven for 10 to 14 minutes or until light brown.
    Makes 2 dozen.
