Seven Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, washed, dried and torn into small pieces
    1 large onion, sliced thin
    1 large cucumber, sliced
    3 ribs celery, chopped
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas (uncooked)
    2 c. mayonnaise
    4 strips crisp bacon, cooked and crumbled
    1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Layer the first 5 ingredients in order given.
    Top with mayonnaise, bacon and cheese.
    Garnish with tomato wedges and cucumber slices. Refrigerate at least 6 hours before serving.
