Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can tomato soup
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1 bay leaf
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 clove garlic, mashed
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
Preparation
    Heat oil in a 10-inch skillet.
    Add onion, green pepper and beef.
    Cook until brown, stirring occasionally.
    Add the next 6 ingredients.
    Cover and simmer about 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
    Add more water if mixture gets too thick.
    Combine garlic and salt, then add with kidney beans to the meat mixture and heat through.
    Yields 6 servings.
