Eggless Spice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/3 c. cocoa
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. mace
1/2 tsp. allspice

Preparation

Sift all
ingredients.
Place
in
bowl and add 1/2 cup melted shortening,
2
cups water and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Mix well and bake
in
layers in a moderate oven for 30 minutes or until done.
