Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. vanilla caramels
    1 small can evaporated milk
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    3/4 c. margarine, melted
Preparation
    Combine caramels, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and 1/4 cup margarine in a double boiler until melted.
    Combine cake mix, 1/2 cup margarine, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and 1 cup walnuts.
    Spread half in a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake 6 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
    Spread caramel mixture over the chips.
    Top with remaining cake mix.
    Bake 18 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Do not bake longer!
    Cut into bars.
