Diabetic Maple Flavored Pancake Syrup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. apple juice
    2 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. butter
    6 pkg. Equal or 1 3/4 tsp. equal measure
    1 tsp. maple flavoring
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In small saucepan, combine apple juice and cornstarch.
    Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
    Cook and stir 2 minutes more.
    Remove from heat and stir in butter, Equal, maple flavoring and vanilla.
    Serve over pancakes, waffles or French toast.
    Makes 1 cup.
