Ingredients

1 (1 lb.) can beets
1/4 c. vinegar
1 Tbsp. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. butter (optional)
Preparation

Drain liquid from beets into saucepan.
Boil down to half. Shake together vinegar and flour.
Stir into boiling mixture.
Add sugar and salt; bring to boil.
Add beets and butter; heat through.
