Fresh Tomato Sauce For Pasta Or Pizza Crust, Etc. - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 c. firmly chopped onion
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    5 1/2 c. seeded, chopped tomatoes (3 lb.)
    1/4 c. chopped fresh basil
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Heat oil in a large skillet.
    Add onion and garlic.
    Saute 3 minutes.
    Add tomatoes and remaining ingredients.
    Stir well and bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat to medium-low and cook 10 minutes or until reduced to 4 cups.
    Keep in freezer for quick pasta dishes.
