Minestrone - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. olive oil
    2 carrots
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 Tbsp. parsley
    1 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 c. shredded cabbage
    2 cloves garlic
    2 stalks celery
    1 qt. chicken broth
    2 tsp. basil
    1 tsp. salt
    2 (15 oz.) can kidney beans
    1 medium zucchini
Preparation
    Put all ingredients into pot, except cabbage, zucchini and beans.
    Let cook 1 hour; add rest of ingredients.
    Let simmer another 1 1/2 hours.
    Serve with garlic bread and salad.
