Ginger Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. baking molasses
1 c. boiling water
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation

Mix together sugar, shortening, molasses and water.
Sift dry ingredients into mixture and blend well.
Stir in eggs.
Pour in greased 9 x 13 pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
