Pineapple Date Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 beaten egg
    1/3 c. milk
    1/3 c. salad oil
    1 (9 oz.) can (1 c.) crushed pineapple
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    1 c. chopped dates
    3 c. sifted flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine egg, milk, shortening, pineapple, nuts and dates. Sift together dry ingredients. Add to first mixture and stir just to moisten. Grease baking pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 minutes.
    A nice holiday bread.
