Broccoli Pasta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 bunches broccoli
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 Tbsp. chopped garlic
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 lb. pasta (rotini, penne or other kinds)
    1/4 tsp. red pepper
    1/2 c. defatted chicken broth
Preparation
    Cut broccoli into flowerets.
    Peel and slice stems.
    Cook pasta.
    When pasta has about 13 minutes left to cook, heat olive oil and add garlic and red pepper.
    Stir one minute.
    Add broccoli.
    Mix well.
    Add salt and 1/2 cup water or defatted broth.
    Use less salt if using canned all chicken broth.
    Cover with a tight lid.
    Cook 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Drain pasta and mix with broccoli and its liquid.
    Serve at once.
