Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
9 oz. pkg. Andes mints
walnut halves
Preparation

Sift flour, baking soda and salt.
In separate bowl, cream butter, sugar and brown sugar.
Blend in eggs, water and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Cover and refrigerate 2 hours.
Put about 1 tablespoon of dough around each mint.
Place on greased baking sheet, about 3 inches apart.
Top with walnut half.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
