Crunch Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1 c. white sugar
    1 (18 oz.) jar peanut butter
    1 small box Special K cereal
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips
Preparation
    Bring Karo syrup and white sugar to a boil.
    Add peanut butter.
    Mix well.
    Add Special K cereal.
    Mix well and put in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Melt in double boiler the chocolate chips and butterscotch chips.
    Pour over Special K mixture.
