Roast And Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 lb. beef roast
2 stalks celery
8 medium potatoes
1 large onion
1 can carrots
salt and pepper
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
Place roast in medium roaster pan and cover with water.
Add chopped onion, celery, salt and pepper. Cover and let cook 30 minutes. Turn oven down to 325\u00b0.
Let cook slowly, approximately 4 hours. Check roast to be sure it is covered with water. After 4 to 4 1/2 hours, add potatoes and carrots.
Cook about 1 1/2 hours or until potatoes are tender.
