Steaming Oyster Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    1 pt. light cream
    1 1/2 oz. container oysters
    2 Tbsp. butter
    dash cayenne pepper
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Heat milk and cream together until film shimmers over surface. Do not boil.
    In separate pan, precook oysters and drain.
    Add oysters (slice if you prefer) and butter to hot milk and cream mixture.
    Heat but do not boil for 5 minutes more.
    Add seasonings and serve at once.
    Serves 5 to 6.
