Peachy Angel Food Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 prepared angel food cake
    2 (1.3 oz.) envelopes whipped topping mix
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 c. confectioners sugar
    1 (21 oz.) can peach or cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Tear cake into bite size pieces; set aside.
    Prepare whipped topping according to package directions; set aside.
    In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and confectioners sugar.
    Fold in whipped topping.
    Add cake pieces; stir gently to coat evenly. Spoon into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
    Top with pie filling. Chill until ready to serve.
    Yields 12 servings.
