Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
thin peel of 1 orange or lemon
Preparation

Put 1/2 cup of sugar and the peel into blender and process on high until peel is very finely grated.
Empty into a bowl, add remaining sugar and mix well with a spoon.
Sprinkle on hot buttered toast, pancakes or coffee cake, or use to flavor puddings and cookies.
Yields 1 1/2 cups.
