Fireman Hash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef, lean
    3 large onions, diced
    1 large green pepper, chopped
    16 oz. (1 can) tomatoes, stewed
    1/2 c. rice (uncooked)
    1 to 2 tsp. chili powder
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    In a large skillet cook ground beef until crumbly.
    Drain off fat.
    Add onions and green pepper.
    Cook until they are tender. Stir in tomatoes, rice, chili powder, salt and pepper.
    Mix well. Pour into a 2-quart casserole dish.
