Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 slices bacon, chopped
    1 rib celery
    salt
    1/2 onion
    2 to 3 strips green pepper
    tomato, if desired
    1 c. rice
    2 c. water or chicken broth
Preparation
    Fry bacon; add celery, onion, green pepper and tomato and saute.
    Add rice.
    Let brown with bacon and vegetables; add water or chicken broth.
    Cover; let come to boil, turn heat to low and simmer 20 minutes.
