Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 c. coconut (optional)
Preparation
    Combine butter, shortening and sugar, creaming until light and fluffy.
    Add vanilla.
    Work in flour and coconut gradually until well blended.
    Form into 2 rolls; chill in refrigerator overnight. Heat oven to 275\u00b0.
    Slice dough 1/4-inch thick.
    Slices may be cut in fancy shapes.
    Bake for 35 to 45 minutes.
