Fruit Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. vanilla wafers (crumbled)
2 sticks butter
7 oz. coconut
1 jar maraschino cherries
1 can Mandarin oranges
1 can pineapples (tidbits or chunks)
1 can peaches (diced)
1 can Eagle Brand milk (chilled)
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
12 oz. Cool Whip
walnuts
Preparation

Drain fruit and set aside.
Melt butter in iron skillet.
Pour in coconut and brown, add vanilla wafer crumbs.
Remove from heat. Put aside 1/2 cup of mixtrue.
Press immediately in 2 pie plates. Beat milk and lemon juice until peaked, add cool whip.
Gently fold in fruit and walnuts.
Top with crust mixture.
Refrigerate overnight.
