Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

dill seed
1 clove garlic
1 tsp. lump alum
3 qt. water
1 qt. vinegar
1 c. salt (not iodized salt)
Preparation

Pack eight quart jars with cucumbers.
To each jar, add 3 teaspoons
dill
seed,

clove garlic and 1 teaspoon lump alum.
