Katie Gooch Wilmot'S Seafoam Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. light brown sugar
    1 c. boiling water
    whites of 2 eggs, beaten stiff
    1 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
    1 c. chopped nut meats
Preparation
    Boil sugar until it forms a hard ball when dropped in cold water.
    Pour over stiffly beaten egg whites and beat until it cools and creams.
    Then drop on wax paper by spoon.
    Put halos of chopped nuts on top of the candy.
