Homemilled Corn Meal Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal, sifted
    1/8 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1/4 c. self-rising flour
    2 Tbsp. oil
    3/4 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift together all the dry ingredients.
    Add egg, buttermilk, and oil.
    Mix well and pour into hot iron skillet.
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Bake 15 minutes.
    Flip in pan and brown.
