Yams Hawaiian Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (1 lb. 2 oz. each) cans sweet potatoes, drained
    1 (8 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1/4 c. granulated sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. coarsely chopped pecans
    1/4 c. light brown sugar
Preparation
    Slice sweet potatoes into 1/2-inch thick pieces.
    Combine with pineapple, butter, sugar and cinnamon in 2-quart casserole.
    Place in microwave oven and cook on High 4 minutes.
    Stir.
    Sprinkle top with pecans and brown sugar.
    Continue cooking 2 to 4 minutes.
    If dish is not hot and topping melted after 2 minutes, give 1/4 turn before continuing to cook.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
